The 114th Safety Caravan was held at Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power Company in the towns of Naraha and Tomioka, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture, on October 14, 2009.

Safety information exchange session

The topics at the safety information exchange were “skill of maintenance department in the workplace” and “access controls at central operations rooms and monitoring tasks of operators.” After a presentation on the current practices and initiatives in these areas at Fukushima -Daini Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power Company, Ikata Nuclear Power Station of Shikoku Electric Power Company and Nuclear Power Stations abroad, the attendees exchanged ideas and opinions about these topics.
