NSnet Peer Review of Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., conducted over four-day period starting September 30th, was completed. A summary of the review is shown below.
We will also summarize opinions and have feedback from observers other than those from members and publish the results on the NSnet website concurrently when publishing the report.

1. Reviewed Establishment (location)
Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., located in Hamaoka-cho, Ogasa-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture.

2. Overview of the establishment and targets of review
At the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station, Reactor 1 (540,000 kW output) went online in March 1976, Reactor 2 (840,000 kW output) in November 1978, Reactor 3 (1.1 million kW output) in August 1987, and Reactor 4 (1.137 million kW output) in September 1993.
The facilities for the target of this review are the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Station overall concerning the areas of "organization and management", "emergency measures" and "education and training" and Hamaoka Reactor 1 and Reactor 2 as representatives of the areas of "operation and maintenance".
