NSnet Peer Review of Laser Atomic Separation Engineering Research Association of Japan, Tokai Uranium Enrichment Laboratory conducted over a three-day period starting May 28th, was completed .
The NSnet Peer Review team consisted of specialists from Hokuriku Electric Power Co., Inc., Nippon Nuclear Fuel Development Co., Ltd., Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Hokkaido Electric Power Company, Incorporated, Inc. as well as Hitachi, Ltd. (a total of five members). The review involved the assessments of the company's organization / administration, emergency measures, education / training, operation / maintenance, radiation protection and serious accident prevention with the processes in the some nuclear facilities through observations of those activities, interviews with employees, and examination of documents.
