NSnet Peer Review of The Chugoku Electric Power Co.,Inc. Shimane Nuclear Power Station conducted over a four-day period starting October 16th, was completed .
The NSnet Peer Review team consisted of specialists from Sumitomo Metal Mining Co.,Ltd., Chubu Electric Power Company, Inc., Kyushu Electric Power Company, Inc., JGC CORPORATION, Nuclear Fuel Industries, Ltd., as well as a secretariat staff (a total of six members). The review involved the assessments of the company's organization / administration, emergency measures, education / training, operation / maintenance, radiation protection, and addressing important issues associated through observations of those activities, interviews with employees, and examination of documents.
