Safety Presentation

The safety presentation was attended by approximately 200 employees of the Kobe Shipyard & Machinery Works.
Following an introduction to the activities of NSnet, The lecturer of Japan Nuclear Fuel Ltd., gave a presentation entitled "Crisis management for nuclear power." The presentation discussed crisis management at nuclear power stations, and drew on the speaker's own valuable experiences.

Following the presentation, another lecturer of the Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute, gave a presentation entitled "Safety promotion implementation in the Japan Nuclear cycle Development Institute." In it, he described the safety-assurance systems being implemented by the Institute and the current state of implementation, together with future tasks.

In the discussion session, NSnet introduced its web site for members, and discussions were held on safety promotion activities with staff members from the quality-assurance and nuclear-power design departments.
