The safety presentation was attended by approximately 50 employees from the Takasago Works. Following an introduction to the activities of NSnet, The lecturer of the Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute, gave a presentation entitled "Safety promotion implementation in the Institute." In it, he described the safety-assurance systems being implemented by the Institute and the current state of implementation, together with future tasks.

In the discussion session following the safety presentation, NSnet introduced its web site for members, and discussions were held on safety promotion activities with staff members from the plant manufacture and quality-assurance departments.
