NSnet's Peer Review for Nuclear Fuel Industries Ltd., Tokai Works was carried out over a four-day period starting May 23rd.
The NSnet Peer Review team consisted of specialist members from The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry, Hokuriku Electric Power Co., Inc., Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., as well as a secretariat staff (a total of six members). The review involved an assessment of the company's organization and management, education and training, operation and maintenance, and radiation protection measures associated with the processes in the main factories through observations of those activities, interviews with employees, and examination of documents.
