  • I am Kiyoshi Naruse,in charge of the Plant Technical Support Division.

    In April 2008, JANTI established the new Plant Technical Support Division in order to support fostering and maintaining engineers and optimizing the maintenance activities of nuclear power plants.

    In order to foster and maintain the engineers, we are accelerating toward the implementation of the shift managers’ qualification program and the introduction of a private-sector skill qualification system.Also, the NuclearAcademy has been established with the plan to maintain and improve capabilities with the on-site front-line engineers at nuclear power stations.We will work toward strengthening its programs in the future.

    In the optimization of maintenance work and in addition to supporting activities of the on-site expert engineers' network, we are also promoting the building of a library of maintenance information to share fundamental technological information.

    We hope to be able to contribute to the improvement of the quality of nuclear power related businesses through activities such as these. We also look forward to continued earnest support and cooperation of all parties concerned.
