On April 13, 2005, the Japan Nuclear Technology Institute held an inaugural general assembly at KKR Hotel Tokyo in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Participated by over 100 of 110 member companies that have jointed the Institute in support of its purport since the formal registration (March 15), the General Assembly approved the basic business plan and budget for FY2005, and selected the new directors and auditors.
The Assembly was followed by a meeting of the board of directors, which appointed the new president and finalized the board structure.
At the inaugural reception, over 300 participants including members, guests and representatives from other associated organizations gathered to renew the nuclear energy industry's commitment to the restoration of public confidence and revitalization of the industry.
