It was a power vehicle that was transported to the power station premises to supply electricity.The power vehicle from Tohoku Electric Power Company arrived on March 11.It was not an alternative DG.
Although the vehicle was brought to the site, debris from the hydrogen explosion hampered the effort to access the power panel to which the vehicle needed to connect.Even if the power panel had been accessible, connection could not have been established as the panel was mostly submerged in water.Consequently, the power vehicle could not restore power.
